Up front the dosage gives a generosity to the initial impression. Quite quickly some mocha, vanilla and cocoa notes become apparent and move the palate more towards the savoury spectrum. In the mid-palate it’s a mix of chocolate, plum and prunes. Once it lingers in your mouth the firm tannins of Malbec give a slightly smoky note but the long bottle ageing has made it soft and smooth. The blend of all the elements give a full bodied but mellow wine.
