The aroma has hints of lemon and biscotti.
Semillon is most prominent on the front palate. Citrus notes as fresh and lifted. In the mid palate more developed flavours of both the Semillon and the Pinot become apparent. The mouthfeel has some development and the yeasty characters from ageing on yeast lees give a complexity and richness. The acid on the finish is subtle but refreshing, and there is a residual zing of mixed citrus rind.
Semillon Pinot is a favourite with seafood and as an aperitif.
SERVING TEMPERATURE These sparkling wines are made to be served cold – less than 4 C. Store for 24 hours in a domestic fridge prior to opening or leave in wet ice for 2-3 hours.
