An exciting interpretation of Botrytis Semillon. All the complexity of still Botrytis with an added zest.
Lustrous yellow gold colour. Perfumed with honeysuckle blossom, marmalade and ripe pineapple. The Botrytis character adds a sharp note to the rich fruit.
All the richness of Botrytis Semillon is captured with the bubbles adding acidity and a crispness to the finish. The mousse is creamy and thick with the citrus jam flavours being lifted. The effervescence of the bubbles gives a slight sherbet character. Apricot and Marmalade characters hit you up front and complement the mixed peel and citrus aromas. The finish is long and lingering.
Serve very cold – move from the fridge into the freezer an hour prior to serving. Great as your traditional after dinner sticky or try it pre dinner with cheese and nibbles. Enjoy with a cariety of cheeses- a creamy blue or sharp vintage cheddar would be ideal
SERVING TEMPERATURE These sparkling wines are made to be served cold – less than 4 C. Store for 24 hours in a domestic fridge prior to opening or leave in wet ice for 2-3 hours.
