APPEARANCE Dark Cherry red in colour
BOUQUET A blend of berry fruits and floral notes. A hint of Raspberries and a hint of Violets effervesce from the glass.
PALATE Sweet berry fruits are noticeable up front, fresh raspberries and blackberries give a slight acid zing. As it moves to the mid-palate the violet floral and minty tones come through. The finish has a subtle savoury note from the oak and soft tannins. The wine is medium bodied, smooth and an easy drinking style.
FOOD SUGGESTIONS
An easy drinking sparkling red which would go well with a variety of foods. Great with cheese and biscuits before a meal, Antipasto or BBQ meats.
SERVING TEMPERATURE
Sparkling reds are made to be served cold – less than 4 C Store for 24 hours in a domestic fridge prior to opening or leave in wet ice for 2-3 hours.
